I need a nap!

Last night I worked- all night I worked! When I awoke I was exhausted and then realized that I really had to get up and ready for work-and it was no dream this time!
Funny thing once I got to work, I could have really used a nap. No wonder my reality is so blurred. I never know when I am awake.

Whats with all the animals.

The last couple of nights my dreams have been as usual strange but what's different about them lately is that I have been visited by various animals.
The first such visitor was a talking chicken. I was in the bathroom of a home that I was visiting (the on-suite where I really shouldn't have been) when the red chicken came running out of the bathroom cupboard and said nervously "don't let them get me or they'll put me back in the cage". Of course the fact that the chicken was talking to me seemed perfectly normal, so I carefully let her out of the bathroom, although I was worried she would be discovered and that I would be in trouble.
I realized that we were on the second story of a house and figured that the chicken would just have to run around upstairs since the stairs were very steep. However, to my amazement the chicken started to climb down the steps by ambling its body side to side. It followed me down the steps and once down I was in a vast hotel lobby. I remarked to a co-worker, Cliff (who just happened to appear) that this chicken was talented, when suddenly Cliff freaked out that she was his chicken. Next an 11 year old girl ran after the chicken with a can of anesthetic and sprayed the chicken in the beak to put it to sleep. I failed to save the chicken apparently.

The following night, I was looking for a parking space for an outdoor soccer game. (my son's) There was fresh snow on the ground. Odd. Then I noticed this huge snowy Owl sitting on a fence post. At the same time I saw my friend, Carrie sitting with a group of people around a campfire. I went to sit by her and her husband. But there was no folding chair left for me to sit down on. The snow would be wet and cold, so of course I looked over my shoulder and poof there was a chair. So I sat and Carrie asked me if I had seen the owl. The alarm woke me.

Last night, it was a pig and a snake. I was with another co-worker, Amy. We were trying to navigate steep stairs and once we got to the bottom we were actually surrounded by a marsh. I told her to stick to the edge as it was shallow. I made my way through the marshy weeds and mud. We saw a small pig with a big soft snout, actually quite a cute pig. We shooed it away. I continued on and down by my feet I noticed a snake swimming away. I wasn't worried as I saw that it was moving away from me. I reassured Amy that it was ok, but to watch where she stepped.

I can't wait to see which animal visits me tonight.
